Strike a (dance) pose in front of the Ulm Cathedral

Time travel, City tips

Still looking for the perfect holiday picture? Ulm gives you one more chance to get it!

Why should you take a picture of yourself striking a dance pose in front of the Ulm Cathedral? No idea but we did it and it looked amazing! So, reactivate the skills that you learnt in ballet class when you were 5 years old and bring it on!

The Ulm Cathedral provides you with the perfect background. It took 513 years to finish the building, so it is perfect now. It is especially known for its church tower which is the highest in the world. There is a viewing platform on top that allows you to spot the Alps in the distance (if the weather is good). Guess how many stairs you have to walk up there (and find the right answer under this text!).

Practical Information

Located on Münsterplatz 1, the Ulm Minister (coordinates: 48°23′55″N 9°59′33″E) is right downtown of Ulm and easy to find not only because of the height of the spire.

If you wish to visit the tower please see the opening hours and the ticket prices here.

Oh, and the amount of stairs to climb? 768!
