The Varlaam Monastery is the second largest monastery in Meteora. It’s named after the monk who first built a tiny chapel on this rocky promontory in the 14th century.

We went hiking at the Via Ferrata in Konitsa, and reached this historical bridge. Built in 1871, it survived an attack in 1913, and is now stronger than ever!
