Moi Finland! The whole Road Trip Project crew is finally together, let the Baltic route start!
We visited the Summer Whitefish Project, learnt how to fish the traditional Finnish way and roasted our fresh catch!
We explored Helsinki on a hot summer day. This beautiful city is known for Nordic design and architecture, but what about the amazing mix of nature and history?
Meet our new friend Joonas, one of the coolest instagrammers in the whole Finland! He showed us around and gave us tips to make our IG feed shine bright!
We visited the amazing people of the Estonian Voluntary Maritime Rescue team, and we felt like we also wanted to become lifeguards!
We went full cowboy, riding horses with our friend Suzy in Muhu!
After a *tiny* nervous breakdown, we appeared on Latvian National Radio, with the coolest host: Magnuss Eriņš!
Jumping off from magical cliffs, meeting old besties, new inspiring friends, and cute animals, going on air on radio… Oh, sweet Estonia and Latvia! You stole our hearts!
Our Vilnius-based amigo (and Atlantic Route traveller!) Fabian took us around some of his favourite places!
This, oh friends, is a paradise for those who love outdoor adventures and wild nature!
Mood: “we’re halfway through the project so… we’re going to buy some champagne”
This third week was all about water, snow, suspended walkways, fancy medieval outfits, and… the G-spot of Europe! So long Lithuania, hello Poland, we have one more week to go, come along!
We were told that the best way of discovering Gdańsk is not by walking, but by kayaking. And so we did!
In Szczecin, Poland, we made a new friend: Pawel! Make sure to check his blog to get all the hidden spots of his cute hometown!
Did you know that you can have a true safari experience in Berlin?
And so we reached our final destination, Berlin. And we explored this fascinating city with the best local guide we could ever wish to have: Luisa, our friend and former traveller along the Mediterranean route!
We started in Athens. We travelled 4 months along 4 different routes throughout Europe. We saw beautiful places, made true human connections. Our community became family. Then, we reached Berlin, and it was time to reunite and celebrate!
One thing’s for sure: the adventure doesn’t stop here! You can surf around this web hub and travel back to the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Danube, and Baltic routes.
We promise we’ll be in touch very soon!
“The Baltic Route is coming and I’m still blown away! I have prepared some warm clothes (doesn’t matter that it’s August, I’m Greek, we don’t survive in the North). Come explore with us some of the most beautiful, but overlooked countries in Europe!” – Achilleas
We were acting all sceptical about his existence, but then we met him: Santa. And he had a few words of wisdom for us, too!
At the Tornion Panimo Brewery we tasted some ancient Finnish traditions. Now, who wants a glass of Road Trip Project beer?
We went around Helsinki on a self-driving bus. Wait, what?
Our first week was… travelling on robot buses, throwing frisbees in the wilderness, meeting awesome people such as fishermen, historians, and pro instagrammers!
Since we’re visiting her home country, we had to meet up with our friend Suzy, former traveller along the Danube route. It feels good to be back together!
Luna went exploring the border between Estonia & Latvia, two countries divided by a river, but united through an… art school!
Our new friend Magnuss welcomed us in his radio show and showed us around Riga. Check him out!
We love hiking in forests, but we had never done so 20 metres above the ground! Experiencing nature and 360 degree views from the level of treetops in the Anykščiai Pinewood in Lithuania was like something from a fairy tale.
In Vilnius, Lithuania, we met some brave, inspiring people who stand up against corruption. Meet Transparency International!
Do you like our “new” look? We’ve also moved into one of the most beautiful castles in Poland.
We had the chance to meet former Polish president and Nobel-Prize winner Lech Wałęsa in what turned out to be a truly inspiring moment for us. We were SO nervous but we managed to stay classy.
Candy factories and a very cool mayor. Słupsk and Ustka, you surprised us and we loved you!
Have you ever visited Szczecin? Well we now a few have reasons to say: you definitely should!
Thanks to the guys from the [email protected] team we switched into “exploration mode” around Berlin!
Time flies when you’re having fun…! We can’t believe how fast these 4 weeks went. Catch up with our Polish and German adventures, all the way to Berlin! And stay tuned, we’ll be in touch very soon!
