Atlantic kick-off!

It’s here, Route 2 has begun and we’re so exicited! We’re setting off on a journey of discovery so its only fitting that we begin in the footsteps of the great explorers of the past centuries, on the beautiful coast of Portugal. Cabo da Roca, with its cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, is our starting point – Fabian is waving across the ocean to his home country of Ecuador, while Yldau is already looking north towards her home country of the Netherlands where this route will eventually take them.

Travelling the length of the Atlantic, Yldau and Fabian will be looking at Europe from an aquatic perspective: discovering the many ways that water can improve our lives, and how the oceans and seas, and water in general, can build economies, foster collaboration, create jobs, and help the environment. Hooked? Too right you are.

Follow Fabian and Yldau as they head north along the coast meeting fascinating people, discovering amazing places and learning things they never knew they didn’t know!
